There is a proposal being discussed for a private company to build, own, maintain, operate and charge tolls for a replacement Governor Thomas Johnson “Solomons” Bridge.
At this time the survey has closed. My initial position of opposition to a toll bridge was overwhelmingly confirmed by the survey responses – 93% opposed to a toll bridge! There are no confirmed plans at this time, but the company United Bridge Partners will be reaching out to residents for input.
